The Advantage® AWR-4000 has changed with the release of the new Version 3 (SG).  The new version units can clone only other V3 (SG) versions, it is not backwards compatible with the previous version.

IDENTIFYING THE VERSION:

The new version 3 units will display 4000SG when first turned on, and the Firmware number (Located under the 4000SG) must be FVER24LMQC etc (Ends in QC).

Older versions will display AWR-4000 when first turned on, and the model number (Located under the AWR4000) will NOT have a QC at the end FVER10 or FVER20LM, etc (NO QC).

CLONING:

If you have a Version 3 radio (Has QC in the Firmware Version), it can clone ONLY another Version 3 Unit.  It will not clone with older versions

If you have an older version, it can ONLY clone another version that displays AWR-4000 when you turn on the radio.  It cannot clone a unit that says 4000SG with a firmware ending in QC when first turned on.

Contact Customer Support if you need to clone from any versions that are not compatible.
