We’re excited to announce a new firmware release for the AWR Advantage! While this version has already been available on the AWR-4002, it will now be included in all new shipments of the AWR-4000 as well. This update adds powerful new features, expands compatibility, and introduces important changes to wireless cloning and programming.

- AI Command via side PTT (requires ONE service)
- ALLCALLvia side PTT (ONE not required; cannot use AI + ALLCALL together)

- Set a maximum number of channels

- PTT Proceed Tone now only plays on the transmitting radio
- Short Button Press Time customization
- Bluetooth RX Only (AWR-4002 only) – perfect for devices like hearing aids
❌ Features No Longer Supported
- DTMF Dialing
- Recorder (removed in a prior version)
- Vibration (removed in a prior version)
- Roger Tone (replaced with Bluetooth RX Only)
